The AMA National Championships event is open to athletes with a minimum age of 30 as of 29 March, 2024. There are no entry qualifications required for any Masters competition worldwide.

Registrations Open - Friday 17 November 2023

Early Bird Entries Close - Wednesday 24 January 2024 at 9pm

Final entries Close - Sunday 29 February 2024 at 9pm

No late entries can be accepted under any circumstances.

Once entries close, a list of entrants will be emailed to all entrants and posted on this website by 10pm Friday 1 March, and a detailed DRAFT program released by Sunday 3 March 2024.

Athletes will have the opportunity to review the draft and notify errors/omissions/conflicts, and the final timetable will be released on Saturday 10 March 2024. After this date, no changes can be made to the timetable.

Australian Entrants

You must be a current financial member of your STATE/TERRITORY MASTERS ASSOCIATION when you register.

International Entrants

You are welcome to enter and you must show proof of current membership of your COUNTRY’S MASTERS ASSOCIATION.

Note: the responsibility of obtaining a valid travel visa is with the athlete, and refunds will not be given because a visa has not been obtained.

Only members of these approved WMA affiliate organisations in India and Sri Lanka will be accepted as entrants:

SRI LANKA – The approved WMA Affiliate is SLMA (Sri Lanka Masters Athletics).
INDIA – The approved WMA Affiliate is MAFI (Masters Athletics Federation of India).

REGISTRATION CHECK IN and BIB COLLECTION

Registration packs are to be collected from the Function Room at the Domain Athletics Centre. Only competitors or their designated Team Manager (presenting email approval) may collect an athlete’s registration pack

Any uncollected registration packs will be taken to the start of the Cross Country on Monday 1 April 2024 and will be available for collection from the designated collection tent at by 7:00am.

Following the lead of SYD2023, we have also taken the step to reduce the environmental impact of our Championships, by producing the program booklet as primarily an online version.

You can order a hard copy version (at $7.50) to collect at Registration Check In (this will be printed 2 weeks out from the event and will not show any changes made in those two weeks, or during the event itself).

Refunds:

For Registrations submitted by 29 Feb 2024: When full cancellation or individual event withdrawal are requested prior to the stated normal closing date of Feb 29, entry fees are refundable (with proof of medical certificate), only for injuries/medical conditions that would not permit competing, less a $30 administration fee.
