Meet our Photographers

We are excited to introduce you to our wonderful photographers for this event. You will see these people around the arena in their official vests - make sure you give them a wave. They are all very friendly, so if you want a particular group shot, just ask!


Jo hails from sunny Queensland and has had a love of photography since she was a teenager. Now her kids are a bit older she is branching out and doing more of what she loves. Her motto is 'Let's make memories together....' - she is all about capturing memories that inspire, empower and elevate.

Founder of Smee Media, Holly is a local sports photographer and keen runner who loves capturing candid moments of vulnerability, community and joy in athletics. She is a passionate advocate for inclusivity and shares the emotion and stories of our sport as the Social Media coordinator for Athletics Tasmania, and official photographer at AT events.

Alejandro has a focus on drone and landscape photography, and is also a keen runner. During an injury he took on sports photography, featuring athletes from Eastern Suburbs Athletics Club, and the Tassie Distance Runners.



John has been a photographer since the 1970s. His earliest interest was Architectural Photography, an aspect that still appears in his photography. He is now focused heavily on nature photography, the urban landscape and sports photography. He takes photos regularly of the Hobart Hockey scene and trail running and posts them on his Facebook pages Hobart Running Pics and Hobart Hockey Pics. John has been previously involved in TMA as the Communications Director editing the TMA Newsletter for a few years.

Britt is a recently graduated media student with an interest in sports photography and media content. She has worked with the Tasmania University Boat Club and Tasmania Rugby Union to create media content that these organisations have used for marketing on their media platforms.



Shane and Suzie are from the ACT (though as a previous Taswegian, we still like to claim Suzie as one of our own!).  Both are experienced photographers who regularly record the antics of fellow ACT athletes and are very generous in sharing their pictures.



CMW Photography - 'Capturing life.....naturally'. Carolyn is based in Southern Tasmania and travels the State with her camera. She has been the official photographer for Tasmanian and Australian sporting championships, as well as for the Tigers Football Club in the TSL.
